an image editing program. Students
will create Web pages and a site
by formatting text, importing
graphics, adding links, and more.

7 by importing text and graphics,
formatting text, using master
pages and guides, creating text
in multiple columns, wrapping
text around a graphic, and designing
attractive text layouts using
frames.

PHOTOSHOP

Photoshop
is the number one digital editing
and photo retouching software
program in use today. In this
introductory class, you’ll
explore how to use some of the
Photoshop tools for selecting
parts of images, and you’ll
move, duplicate, and resize images.
You learn how to use layers, and
apply layer effects and filters
to create special effects. You’ll
use filters and do some work with
photos to crop, make adjustments
to contrast and color balance.
You will also save images in formats
for print and Web use.
There is a text
fee text payable to instructor
at class. Intro level can be as
much as a one or two day course
depending on user’s level
of experience in graphics. This
will be determined in discussion
with instructor prior to scheduling.
Prerequisites: Students enrolling
in this course should have good
mouse skills and be familiar with
file management (opening, closing,
and saving files to various folders).
